Happy Halloween!!

Just a few pics from our Halloween this year...You of course have the pumpkins....thankfully, most of the girls stuck with the standard face. Kaylee was the only one insisting on something different, but when you have 4 pumpkins to get done, faces were encouraged! Luckily, because we carved at Michael's parents home, we had David & Grandpa Gale's help. Kaylee did another pumpkin at her art class, so we ended up with 5. (Hmmm...I wonder if Michael let the candles burn all night...) Mikenna didn't have much interest in what we were doing. Mostly wandered from pumpkin to pumkin. Kassi worked with David, Kiera helped scrape (and scrape and scrape) various pumpkins. Kaylee worked on "poking" her design out, after she helped Joe seperate his seeds from gunk from his HUMUNGOUS pumpkin.
Here we are at Great-Grandma's after we'd Trunk-or-Treated at the Union building. We were then off to trek around our neighborhood. Grandma Gale put together Kaylee's costume this year. An exotic Jasmine! The rest of the girls recycled costumes from previous years. Kassi had the most to choose from. She changed her mind from day to day, and finally settled on Cinderella tonight.
Of course, we ended our trick-or-treating night with photos at our home of the princesses with the Chan pirates.(Allison sewed all of the boys' costumes this year. She did a super job!!)The girls checking out thier stash. I don't know if Mikenna will be as willing to share her's this year. She didn't want us to help her with her bucket and insisted on holding it herself in the car.And to end, we inherited a few decorations this year that Kaylee & I put up. The ladder thing was tricky, but once that was over, the rest was a cinch!!

Happy Halloween!!

Love the pumpkins. Ours never even got candles put in them! Guess I was too busy sewing! :)

I'm glad we ran in you all...it just wasn't feeling the same without the big cousin picture and trick-or-treating together. It should be tradition, I think!
