Gale Munchkins

The guys...paintball ready... I thought I'd take more pics...but this was all I got. Mike said it was a lot of fun, as usual...Tim got pegged by Nathan...huge ugly welt (on his hiney that he told us about, but here's a pic Julia has on her site )...Mike's dad had on MAJOR layers, so he didn't feel a thing. You can see Mike is all decked out in his camo...Some guys weren't as smart, ie white sweatshirt, or the large strips David wore... The things guys do for fun:S

Fun times after the kids go to bed...Mike & Tim are learning to survive Halo...Chris is running circles around them...Dr. Mario tournement: I am learning how to play correctly, Julia & Chris are the champions, although Mike (if his brain can communicate with his thumb) is close behind...of course we love Settlers, trying new variations...

...the new favorite Barbie movie. Tim scoffs at it...wait until he has girls! We are only on the 2nd viewing...(and the 2nd time began in the middle.)

On the trip down, I had markers for the girls to color with. I only asked that they color on paper...well...as we neared Blackfoot, ID (a quick detour to visit with Mike's grandparents) Kassi said, "Mom, I accidently got marker on my hand." I thought it was from tracing her hand (you know how that can happen), I asked her to show me...her hand was COMPLETELY red, front & back. I warned her to not do that again..."OK mommy." But then we get to Tim & Julia's...Adam comes running with a purple mark on his cheek, I hunt for Kassi, and this is what she had done! UG!

This afternoon we took the girls to BYU for lunch and bowling. It took us 1.25 hours to bowl one game...the girls did a fun job of getting the ball down the lane, even if it went 1 mph...then afterwards we played at a nearby playground before swimming! WE LOVE VACATIONS!!

The girls love Tim's cat...Stimpy...especially our little Mikenna. She goes around, looking for the "mao mao", every minute she can. She'll look under beds, around corners, even goes up the stairs to the main floor looking. If we are lucky, we catch her at the top of the stairs, pointing and smiling-she hasn't fallen down...yet.

We are having tons of fun here in Utah! I'll have to post pics later, unless I can get Julia to upload some of her pics! So, keep checking back!! Did I mention that on the trip down, Mike decided to take a detour to visit his Grandparents in Blackfoot. It was fun to sit and chat, then the girls got to go out and help Grandpa with his chores: feeding his 12 cows (6 mamas and 6 baby cows) Kassidy wondered where the daddy cows were...and then feeding the chickens & collecting the eggs (only 2 this time). We gave them baths after dinner and then back on the road again!

Mikenna loves to use crayons, pencils, pens, markers...on everything! The walls, books, paper, desks, chairs, and her hands and feet. The other day while I was on the computer, she sat next to me on the floor drawing in a notebook. As I watched, she would scribble in the book, then stopped, took off her socks, and then proceeded to draw on her left foot. Went back to scribbling in the notebook, stopped, and drew on her right foot. On other occasions I've also watched her scribble on her hands, arms, and legs. My little budding artist :)

Mikenna has mastered the CHEESE face. While in Seattle a few weekends ago, Mikenna picked up the word "cheese". Since then, she has added a "face" to that "cheese"; Here it is! ENJOY!!

Since moving into my parents home, the girls have figured out that Uncle will give them food. They go to him for apples, bananas, candy, all sorts of snacks! At times it is very frustrating...I'm the mom, I should have a say...o-well...these pictures are of the latest snack they ask for. Slices of bread.

For lunch we took the girls to Pizza Hut to turn in their Book It coupons. Kaylee & Kiera chose to have pineapple as their choice of topping. I'm not sure why Kiera chose pineapple, here's a picture of her and what's she picked off of her pizza.

Last night the girls piled on Michael. Kaylee making obnoxious noises, Kiera reading a story, Kassidy telling him something that had happened and Mikenna just squawking because her sisters were near. I just sat on the other side of the room and laughed. I could tell the noise was getting overwhelming...then Kaylee started playing her songs for him on the piano...needless to say, our girls are definetly not quiet :) After getting them to bed, Mike just looked at me and said, "Take me out back and shoot me now!" The picture is from tonight, a milder version of last night, but still headachingly noisy! (was that even a word?) Kiera just finished reading "Bunny Money", Mikenna is playing with her playskool piano, and Kassidy is reading "Give Me a Hug"...Kaylee was playing on the piano, but I asked her to take the picture. Mike has also said on many occasions, "Poor Uncle. He misses Grandma and Grandpa and his PEACE AND QUIET!"

Mikenna has discovered a new form of entertainment! She loves to dance, or shake it , to "O McDonald's" and "Farmer in the Dell." She has also picked up Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes...except in this clip, she gets a bit stuck on the toes. She really doesn't like the jammies with covered toes, and usually forgets about it...until reminded.

...we have been reminded what Mikenna likes to do when left to her own vices...she truely LOVES playing with the toilet paper! Many times we have caught her "in the act", but usually it's merely a pile by the comode. Today, she pulled it from this bathroom in the picture, into the nearby computer room. The girls came and told me about it, so I asked them to make a neat pile in the bathroom. (I didn't realize how much had been unrolled.) Then later tonight, as Mike and I were making phone calls, I could hear an odd noise coming from the entry. A sort of scraping noise, and when I investigated, there was Mikenna having a GREAT time. So, I captured it on video for you to enjoy! (Had a bit of fun with the movie maker as well.)
