Here are our pumpkins...Michael carved them with the girls one night while I was gone. They turned out great, especially since I didn't have to do anything...well, except for helping them pick them out...I tried to encourage smaller pumpkins, making carving easier...and shorter...
Our ward YM/YW put on a carnival for the primary...so we got all dressed up and headed out. It was a nice, mostly warm afternoon...which was nice...didn't have to cover our costumes under heavy coats!!Here is Kassidy with a few of her friends. Mikenna wouldn't get in the picture...her cold was beginning to make her more tired...She also looked like she was beginning to get pink-eye...(luckily she didn't...)...I mentioned something like, "Oh no, you might have pink-eye!!" Which later she asked, "Is my eye still purple mommy?"My friend Mary's cute twins!! They're sitting in her van trunk for the trunk-or-treat...
I thought this was the most disgusting carnival thing...Taunya Longaker was the "body"...Mikenna refused to go in...they were to pull out either a finger, ear or nose from the green goop in the middle...and she (TL) kept making noises...GROSS!!

I was going to take a picture from down low to show how tall Jeff Morgan looked next to the girls.,.but then he knelt down...we made sure to trick-or-treat his home for the toothbrushes...
My friend Janelle did a great job with her costume. There were a lot of adults who got dressed up. It looked like fun...I should have borrowed Allison's wig sooner...(see down below)

Here's Kaylee with Brielle...isn't she cute!!

The cupcake walk...Kiera kept going round and round and finally managed to land on the "lucky" number...this was our dinner for the night...

The girls with a few of the young men in our ward...

Kaylee with her friend Maddie, who happened to trick-or-treat our house, even though we weren't handing out candy...amazing the number of kids who rang our doorbell, despite our not having the lights on...isn't that a given? Don't go to the homes without their porch lights on?

Can you see the wig that I'm wearing? It sort of blends into the night...Look closely...

Kiera got tired of her wig, so Mike got to wear it...We waited for him to be finished with sprinkler blowouts (yeah! they're all done!!) and also for Aaron and Allison and kiddos to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood...had to get our toothbrushes from the Morgans & Loveridges...stopped in at the Gutzman's and Great Grandma's to get the count for the night...83 & 42 I think the totals were...(number of kids)...

Amazingly enough, Mikenna walked a lot as we went from home to home. She usually says her legs are tired and then wants to be carried, but she did a great job moving her little feet and taking big steps! Until next year!! Hope your Halloween was fun!!
